The large [79”long] Alfresco sideboards are back! We have them in two colours, photos are attached. A local craftsman who acquired a lot of fantastic old wood has started to make it into furniture. Benches were first, some have 2” thick tops, and 4” thick bottoms. We already have a bunch of sizes in stock. Bookcases are coming next. An enormous outdoor teak table and 8 chairs came in. It needs a big backyard and some warmer weather. Lots of china just kept coming this week, including: Aynsley service for 8, cups and saucers, Minton service for 8, Wedgwood pieces, assorted Limoges pieces, 7 Royal Doulton figurines, 63 piece no name gold and white set, lots of Asian pieces[large bowls, vases, etc.], planters, s&p, fruit bowls, and more. Additional antique arrivals this week include: rare brass table top music stand, assorted sterling and silver plated flatware and hollowware, oak treasure box, large wood owl, cast iron book ends, 2 small jewelry boxes, silver chests, lots of mirrors, Lloyd’s loom child’s rocking chair, 2 piece elm buffet and hutch, Underwood manual typewriter, 3 bamboo outdoor chairs, 40” round Victorian coffee table, nice brass wood box, vintage Stromberg Carlson mantle radio, large beer stein, French ladies desk, French commode, assorted odd chairs, floor lamps, 4 pedestals-one nice pair, vintage set of kitchen cannisters, Lemaire Paris opera glasses, some large framed pictures and paintings, some large crystal pieces including a pitcher, ash tray, bowls, vases, and lots more. It was clearly large week at The Barn, maybe we will get lots of miniatures next week.
