Lots of silver this week, a photo is attached of all the sterling, AKA the good stuff. There is a setting for 12, a setting for 8, a mint condition salt & pepper set with grinder and tray, a 4piece brush and mirror set, a pair of 6 1/2” candle sticks, and a few assorted flatware pieces. Lots of silver plate as well including a 24piece bone handle fish set, lots of bone handled flatware pieces, large candelabra, and assorted hollowware and flatware. No week would be complete without a few outdoor arrivals; the last batch of giant pink flamingos for the year arrived, as did wall fish planters. Two rare crocks showed up, a photo is attached, Belleville Pottery Co. and W.E. Welding, Branford, Ontario. Antique furniture arrivals included: a Coromandel style folding screen in perfect condition, large Victorian sideboard, large oak office desk, roped edge Chinese Chippendale bookcase, oak Windsor chair, half moon hall table, one door Victorian washstand, small carved curio Cabinet, and more. Some odds and ends this week include: 3 manual typewriters[Smith Corona, Royal, and Galaxie], 2 flatware cases, cups and saucers, a bunch of large china bowls, all kinds of assorted china, fireman’s axe, vintage toaster, antique Rummy and Backgammon games, 5 assorted mirrors, 5 metal plant hangers, printer’s tray, large Buddha lamp, 2 cast iron magazine racks, iron waste basket, 3 piece set of drum boxes, ceramic rocking horse, large wooden horse, 2 ceramic Scottie dogs, and more. The award for most unusual item of the week goes to a creepy looking solid blue glass human head, it is extremely heavy. We are not sure why it exists but it does.
