New Stock Arrives Daily

Below are photos of some of the new arrivals from the last couple of weeks. The highlight is a fantastic early Victorian cast iron bench with two matching chairs.  

While we are no longer excepting orders for reproduction furniture; orders that our customers placed before the deadline continue to arrive. We had one lonely Irish Coast three drawer nightstand, so we added one to an order that arrived this past week. There is a photo below of a pair of Irish Coast three drawer nightstands that are now in stock. This will be the last pair available for purchase. 

As we are now in the final months of The Barn being open to the general public, we are instituting some policy changes.

We are no longer accepting orders for new/reproduction furniture. Only what’s on display at The Barn is available for purchase. Duplicates of some items are available, so if you want multiples of an item, just ask. 

Yes, there will continue to be new arrivals. We will continue to bring in new antique items as we have time to sort through things. We’re also going to bring in various parts and pieces, lots of wood boards, and shelving racks in the months to come. We’ve also been restocking our tool section, and will continue to do so. 

We’ve also changed our refund policy. As of now, all sales will be final. We are no longer offering refunds or exchanges on sales going forward. And all furniture purchased must be picked up within 30 days of purchase. We are no longer offering long term storage. 

There will be multiple sales in July. Below is a list of all of July’s sales. 

Sale 1: All antique items are 20% off, unless marked with a sale tag denoting a higher discount.

Sale 2: All remaining reproduction Arcadia furniture is 30% off in July.

Sale 3 All remaining furniture from our Wow and Jodhpur lines is 40% off in July. 

Sale 4: Selected pieces of antique and reproduction furniture are 20% to 30% off in July.

Sale 5: All remaining Provence furniture is 20% off in July. 

To make things easier, we’ve affixed all newly made items with a small round yellow tag. Anything that has a small round yellow tag, and doesn’t have a sale tag, is not on sale.
Everything that doesn’t have a small round yellow tag or a sale tag is 20% off. 

There are photos below of some of the new arrivals from the past couple of weeks. There is one photo of books. We have lots of books to sort through and price. We’ve made a point of putting out on display at least two boxes of books every week in June. We will continue to do so, every week, all summer long. 

We keep getting asked on what date we will be closing to the general public. We have not yet announced a date, and we aren’t going to announce a date until after labour day. The earliest possible closing date will be in October. Because we don’t plan on being open to the general public during the Christmas season, we put some Christmas items out on display, this past week. A photo is below.

There will be multiples sales in June; all June sales are listed below. We are starting June sales a couple of days early. All of June’s sales will start today, May 30th. 

Sale 1: Our sale of all remaining WoW and Jodhpur furniture will continue in June. All WoW and Jodhpur furniture will be 30% off in June. Photos of many of these pieces can be seen on our Reproductions page. 

Sale 2: All remaining in stock furniture from our Arcadia line will also be 30% off in June. 

Sale 3: All antique items will be 20% off for June. That’s all antique items, from miniatures to large furniture are 20% off, unless marked with a sale tag denoting a higher discount in store. 

Sale 4: All antique beds will be 30% off in June. 

Sale 5: Selected pieces of antique and Reproduction furniture will also be 30% off for June.

To make things clear, everything that is 30% off, is marked in store with a 30% off tag.

Also, all new/reproduction items are affixed with a small round yellow tag to facilitate identification. Anything with a small round yellow tag is not on sale, unless marked with a sale tag.

All sales apply to in stock items only. Sales don’t apply to orders for out of stock items or special orders. The deadline to order reproduction furniture is June 30th. We are not excepting any orders for new furniture beyond the end of June. Starting July 1st, only in stock items will be offered for sale.

We weren’t planning on getting in any more new outdoor items. However, outdoor wind tilters, birds, and benches have sold out far faster then we anticipated. So, we decided to restock what we could. We’ve restocked the wind tilters[orioles, hummingbirds, and cardinals]. We also restocked some of the wacky birds. A couple of photos are below. 

NEW SUMMER HOURS: For the months of June through September, The Barn will be open four days a week. We will be open Friday through Monday from 10am to 5pm. We will be closed Tuesday through Thursday. Fall hours will be announced in September. 

The deadline to place orders for reproduction furniture is approaching, it’s June 30th. We are still accepting orders for the following lines: Springwater Woodcraft, Irish Coast & Lifestyle [African Dusk & Sundried], Provence, and Arcadia. Starting in July, only items that are on display at The Barn will be offered for sale. If you have your heart set on something specific, it must be ordered/purchased by the end of June. 

We brought in the last piece we had in storage, from our Provence line, a hall seat. All remaining Provence reclaimed wood furniture is now on display at The Barn. A photo is below. It’s just the last piece of Provence, there are still lots more new items to come in. 

We’ve been receiving regular shipments of reproduction furniture orders for our customers. We managed to add a couple of the Irish Coast writing tables to one of those orders. The Irish Coast writing tables are now back in stock. A photo is below. 

We also received our final shipment from our Nature Form line. New Nature Form arrivals included: child’s animal stools, decorative paddles, four different varieties of stump vases & stump bowls, assorted puzzle boxes, teak outdoor chairs/benches, teak indoor/outdoor hall table, hand carved teak basket bowls, xylophones, frog croakers, twig motorcycles, puppets, and more. 

The Nature Form line is now well stocked, we have extra stock of most items. As these items sell out, they will not be restocked again. We mention this because nearly ever day now, we have a customer who requests something that’s sold out. There are currently 14 different options for the very popular child’s animal stools. If you want a specific animal, we recommend not waiting, to avoid disappointment.

It’s unusual for us to post two updates in the same week on this page. However, there’s so much happening at The Barn this week, that we will post another update on Friday.

Finally! The remainder of our outdoor metal birds, and kinetic wind spinners have finally arrived. We received some new birds including ducks and pheasants. We’ve never had pheasants before. Most importantly the very popular blue jays, and cardinals arrived! We currently have 21 different birds, and 8 different kinetic wind spinners/tilter/garden stakes in stock. This will be our final shipment of these products, when they sell out, that’s it. Multiples of most items are available upon request. Photos of some of the new arrivals are below. 

SPECIAL NOTICE: We will have new summer hours beginning June 1st. From June 1st, The Barn will be open four days a week, Friday through Monday, from 10am to 5pm. We will be closed Tuesday through Thursday. Our new hours are valid June through September. Fall hours will be announced in September. 

Our hours will not change for the remainder of May. We are currently open six days a week from 10am to 5pm, closed on Wednesdays. If you’re ever unsure about our hours, just scroll down to the bottom of this page. We make sure the hours on our website are always accurate. 

We weren’t planning on posting an update this week, but so much cool stuff arrived, we thought we would share some photos of new arrivals.

Plus, we got word that the long awaited remainder of our outdoor metal birds and kinetic wind spinners spring shipment is scheduled to arrive late this week! We will share some photos of those in a week or two, once they arrive, and get sorted.  

We are going to have multiple sales in May. Below lists all the different sales for May. All sales listed will be valid for the entire month of May. There will also be flyers available in store listing all sales. 

Let’s start with antiques! For the entire month of May, all antique items with be 20% off. That’s all large antique furniture, antique miniatures, and every antique piece in between. 
We’ve decided to completely liquidate our WoW and Jodhpur lines of furniture. We’re doing something different with the remainder of our Wow and Jodhpur lines. Between what’s on display in The Barn and duplicate items in storage, we currently have 60 pieces of furniture from these two lines remaining. There are large and small pieces ranging from $95 to $1850. Photos of many of these pieces can be seen on our Reproductions page. Both these lines will be 20% off for all of May. Everything from the WoW and Jodhpur lines that remains at the end of May will be 30% in June. An additional 10% discount will be added every month until all WoW and Jodhpur pieces have been sold. Whatever remains will be 40% off in July, and so on. We imported these lines directly from Jodhpur India, so when they sell out, they won’t be restocked. And these pieces can’t be ordered in, so when they’re gone, they’re gone. All furniture that is part of this sale will be marked in store with a yellow flyer explaining the sale and the discount. 

Sale number three for May will be, selected pieces of antique and Reproduction furniture will be 30% off. All pieces that are part of this sale will be marked with a 30% off tag. 

Sale number four is all antique beds that are not part of a bedroom set will be discounted by and additional 10% on top of the 20% discount. All antique beds, that are not part of a bedroom set will be 30% off for all of May. 

There are photos below of some of the new arrivals from the last few weeks. New arrival highlights included: lots of antique smalls[glass, crystal, china, silver, etc.], great pair of lusters, 3 piece vintage outdoor set, and lots of cups and saucers.

Also, our final batch of reproduction cast iron bookends is due to arrive this week. 

For anyone unaware, we’ve changed from weekly sales to monthly sales. For the entire month of April all antique items are 20% off. New/reproduction items are not on sale in April. New/reproduction items are all marked with a small round yellow tag.

The most noteworthy new arrivals were lots of antique smalls. We filled up a bunch of display cabinets with glass, crystal, china, silver, etc.. Of course there were many antique furniture new arrivals as well.
