This week a fantastic marble and alabaster Art Nouveau signed figure lamp and column showed up. Its the type of piece that doesn’t come on the market very often these days. The column lights up; a photo is attached. A shipment of reclaimed wood furniture arrived from Vancouver. The shipment was mostly special orders for customers and items we are stocking up on for the busy holiday season. However there was a new item, the Settler chest of drawers. There is a large Settler line of bedroom furniture that can be special ordered, and now we have a sample. Just in time for the first snow we brought in a sleigh, 3 and 4 seat toboggans, and a cutter sleigh. Antique furniture arrivals this week include: a pair of lime green Victorian cameo chairs, pair of oak hall chairs, set of 6 oak dinning chairs, set of six French provincial dinning chairs, round oak table with a leaf, a nice small 3 drawer oak dresser, folding card table and 2 chairs [we get asked for these a lot], piano bench, large wicker trunk, assorted bar stools, walnut dropleaf table, iron and wood plant table, and more. Some of this weeks odds and ends include: a quarter cut oak serving tray, a pair of wall sconces, half a dozen assorted chandeliers, a quantity of silver plate holloware, framed prints, 23 piece set of Royal Sometuke Nippon china, oil lamps, and more. The award for most unusual item of the week goes to a vintage framed “Ripley’s believe it or not” TV show poster from the 1980’s hosted by Jack Palance and his daughter Holly Palance. Yes some stuff from the 1980’s is now considered vintage. I feel old.
