This was a rare week where we actually tried not to bring new furniture into The Barn. We have a long-awaited large shipment of reclaimed wood furniture from our Irish Coast line arriving in a few days. There are lots of large pieces that need to come in, so we’ve been making space in the building for that shipment. However, as always, there was still lots of new arrivals this past week, just mostly smaller items.

Lots of great lighting show up, I’ve included photos below of our favorites: 2 terrific Tiffany style lamps, both the dragonfly and floral lamps have top and bottom lights, a pair of figure lamps signed L & T Moreau, a pair of metal and bronzed bedroom lamps, and a fantastic solid brass chandelier. The photo doesn’t do the chandelier justice, it is very impressive in person.

Antique non furniture new arrivals included: some nicely framed prints, milk can, seahorse plant stand, 2 large wicker containers, Coca Cola crate, 2 carboys, large wicker planter, pair of beehive candle holders, 2 Disney figurines, large glass cake plate, 12” round copper planter, porcelain basket, 2 large cut crystal vases, a bunch of small oval framed petit point pictures-including a set of 4, 5piece silver plate tea set, assorted silver plate holloware[trays, serving dishes, napkin holder, gravy boat, etc.], assorted porcelain miniatures, 2 cast iron frying pans, 2 wicker baskets, 2 cast iron pots, wicker jewelry basket, 2pairs of Dutch wooden clogs, 2 porcelain cake plates, pair of 28” high wooden candle holders, a terrific large gilt mirror, a bunch of 80% silver European flatware, 2 rattan rug beaters, and lots more assorted smalls.

Of course, despite our efforts some antique furniture did find its way into to the building this past week, just not the usual amount. Antique furniture new arrivals included: a set of 6 Quebec press back chairs, 3 different needlepoint seat chairs, a needlepoint footstool, vintage bistro table with cast iron base, Eastlake sideboard, 3piece round mid-century coffee & end table set, and a folding card type table with a Mediterranean scene inlaid into the top.
