Lots and lots of antique furniture came in this week including: a great Victorian wash stand, Empire chest of drawers, ladies spinet desk, Lloyd’s loom child’s rocker, Art’s and craft’s rocker, walnut cedar chest, round oak dinning room table, nice medium size hump trunk[would make a great toy chest], Louis XV style loveseat, pair of Louis XV side chairs, Louis XV living room arm chairs, walnut tea trolley, games table, magazine tables[1 Gibbard], Canadian made loveseat, small maple student’s desk, 3 piece banded Duncan Phyfe coffee and 2 end tables set, and more. More new arrivals include: an assortment of silver plate hollowware, barometer, 1940’s Remington Rand working adding machine, parlour lamp signed Richards, hand made double size quilt, ornate brass candle holders, assorted paintings, fire screen, mahogany oval mirror, assorted chandeliers and light fixtures, large Asian porcelain fish bowl on stand, and more. A silver plate meat dome came in this week. It is the third one we’ve had in the last few weeks. Prior to this we haven’t had one in at least a year. The other two have been sold, so grab this one before we don’t see another one for a year. The most unusual item of the week is a complete vintage Tasco microscope set in a dovetailed wooden box. It comes with salts, a bunch of instruments, measuring devises, and instructions. It looks like it has barely been used.
